The National Park of Akagera is located in the east of Rwanda and extends over a hundred kilometers along the Akagera River border with Tanzania. Rich in birds, the landscape alternates between lakes and mountains. Pretty red paths with tall grass reserve many surprises like beautiful male elephants, giraffes, zebras topis in large numbers. The swamps of papyrus invaded lakes and contains a lot of wildlife for who takes the time to observe. A nice place to visit.
